Ingenium is growing, and this summer we're looking for talented and dedicated young musicians to join our brand new Chamber Music and Composition programmes!

We're delighted to announce that in 2018, the Ingenium Academy will be running a brand new week from 15 to 22 July.

We will be offering two specialised programmes in Chamber Music and Composition, to run alongside our Intermediate Conducting programme and an extended Piano programme.

Our unique Chamber Music programme is for 14–18 year old musicians with a passion for small ensemble playing. Students will explore a range of challenging music in depth, focusing on ensemble technique in an immersive and collaborative environment.

Dates: 15 - 22 July 2018

The Composition programme will give young composers the opportunity to work on individual pieces in their preferred style, and to broaden their appreciation and understanding of different genres and techniques of composition through expert tuition and Q&A sessions with visiting professional musicians.

The new programmes will run during an additional week, meaning that for the first time ever, the Ingenium Academy will run for four weeks during the summer!

Our Conducting programme will run during this new week, so look out for our Intermediate programme (15 to 22 July) and Advanced programme (22 to 29 July).

In addition, our popular Piano programme will now run for 4 weeks, including the new week.

Our Earlybird Discount means you can save £200 on programmes 3-weeks or above,  by completing your application before 31 December 2017.

Places do sell out quickly, particularly certain instruments - so be sure to get your application in early to avoid disappointment.
